Description:
Thick vegetation right below road. Not much rubbish. Heads north, then turns east going down hill. Some leaf litter - not thick. Heads down hill on side of ridge slope. Continues north-east/north. Vegetation - dwarf oak, rhodedendrons and some pine trees. Continues down and along side of ridge. Becomes shallower and more indistinct to the north. Ends in thicker vegetation which could obscure continuation further down hill. Trench was mostly deep and wide but shallower and less distinct in some parts. NB. Trench could be either Anzac or Turkish. No photos taken.
